appreciate

I took and do take my body for granted
some people cannot walk without any assistance
but I take my legs for granted
some aren't able to see at all
I still have the ability to move all my limbs
a mind that controls my mouth
I appreciate that I have these ability's
to be able to write words of imagery
to walk right along you
show respect with hand shake
look directly into your eyes, to see you smile
allow me to hug, shoulders that allow me to shrug
I have a voice that will not be silenced but heard
ears that allow to hear what the world says
and its beautiful songs that are sung
to taste elegant food with this tongue
