roll with me on this day
dimmed lights as we step out
deep hearts filled with fantastic mirrors that reflects us
day turns to night
no way to get back to where we used to be
it's o.k as long I have a lid on my worries, I'm not worried
darkness is a little afraid of me
to dark to even see my own hand in front of me
are you still with me?
as we stumble into each other
risky hands tries to find yours in the shadows, just to hold you
stupid hands should have never that
I was trying to let go, however you held on tightly
you can't see it but that made me feel happy
the lights came back on
but your grip on my hand was pretty damn strong
why won't you let go of me?
smiled in my face...
as we gazed into each other eyes
I didn't recognize this feeling
told myself to wake up I must be dreaming
when she realizes who she with......
look directly into my lonley eyes and hugged my heart
paralyzed mouth said nothing....
what...is...going...on....
I was manipulated by her eyes
slowly rubbed my hands with soft fingers....
the moolight with its brilliant light shows you to me
greatful holds on with warmth
I woke up with sweat on my hands
a word was written on it, it said "goodbye for now"
was it a dream, that's what it seems.

SeƱor Long. You keep justifying your last name. Because every poem you offer is in search for something you long for.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Islero Cervantes.
ReplyDeleteI also think this one represents they way alot of people feel. might just be me but it reads a little like a rap to me as well.
